UPDATE

I somehow missed this letter when it was first posted on the St. Pascal's website. It details how St. Pascal's gained financially from the sale of St. John's. The third page is a list of where various items from St. John's ended up. I don't know if it is completely accurate. As far as I know St. Pius V only took the front portion of the high altar and the tabernacle from the St. Joseph side altar.

There has been some graffiti problems at the old church building. The front doors and little windows next to them have been tagged and cleaned off at least a couple of times. There was also some utility work in the street. I think it had to do with the water main in the school.

So far nothing else has been done on the exterior of the church or school building.

The name is changing from Darul Uloom Islamic Center to the Somali American Center and they plan to have a street fair for the neighbors and Dayton's Bluff residents in the near future. No date has been set yet.

I hope everyone is doing well.
